Born in the suburbs of Paris in 2009, Parkour, also known as Freerunning, has it’s roots in early urban firefighting training and military obstacle training. Born of YouTube and evolving through all social media channels, Parkour became a global sport almost instantly.
You’ve seen the show with franchises in 18 countries but did you know the multiple Ninja athlete leagues that underly the show are massive by contrast? Ninja sports, like Parkour and World chase tag is one of the fastest growing sports on the globe and is making its first foray into the Summer Olympic’s in 2028.
